Privacy Policy - LoA High Tester

APP PURPOSE

This application is part of a bachelor thesis focused on analyzing mobile device compliance with LoA High (Level of Assurance High) requirements for European Digital Identity (EUDI Wallet).

DATA COLLECTION

The app collects technical parameters of your device for scientific research:

  • Security test results (anonymized)
  • Device model and Android version (for research)
  • Technical details about security features (for analysis)
  • Device identifiers are hashed for privacy protection
  • NO personal data (names, emails, locations)

ANONYMIZATION

Device identifiers are cryptographically hashed before sending. Device specifications are collected for research validity but cannot identify individuals without additional information not collected by this app. We do not collect:

  • Names, emails, phone numbers
  • Locations, contacts, photos
  • Raw device identifiers (hashed only)

PROCESSING PURPOSE

Data is used exclusively for scientific research within the bachelor thesis on mobile device compliance with eIDAS requirements.

LEGAL BASIS

Article 6(1)(a) GDPR - Consent for scientific research purposes pursuant to Article 89 GDPR. Device specifications are necessary for research validity on mobile security compliance.

USER RIGHTS

  • You can stop data collection at any time in settings
  • You can delete all stored data
  • You can opt out of sending data to server
